Reading FC Community Trust are seeking some volunteer support for Reading FC Women matches, which they hope the fanbase could assist with.
Hope the social media updates against Woodley were well received. The Trust are aware they may not be able to provide a consistent presence at all games due to different staff in attendance. They would love to identify help from within the fanbase. As a volunteer role this is unpaid and the Trust are seeking support from those with love for the game.
Ideally for:
- Journalists or fans that the Trust can highlight as providing match updates (lineups, goal updates, half-time and full time scores) in the event the Club is unable to. This would be a great opportunity for an early career journalist.
- Match reports – to be drafted for the Trust to sign off and publish via official channel.
- Videography, someone to film games, for use on social media and other channels.
The Trust are not overly prescriptive on the person they are looking for, and each of them will vary slightly, but some media background, social media experience, and excellent grammar would be ideal.
