For the past few years we’ve been trying to track down all the early (pre-1990) film and TV footage of Reading matches. We thought we knew what had been filmed and what had been lost (the Robin Friday era) but somehow accidentally came across four a half minutes of an utterly ordinary Division Three match from 1959.
