STAR needs to update its Rules from those adopted 20 years ago. In order to change the Rules we need to have one third of the members to vote and three quarters of those to vote in favour of the change at the AGM on 1st September 2022.
If you are not able to attend the AGM we’re asking members to allow the Chair of STAR to act as proxy to cast your vote on the modernisation of the Rules, based on the template recommended by the Football Supporters Association with a few changes tailored to STAR. – Please see more here on how to do this.
Bonus of new Elm Park film for AGM attendees
As the AGM will be a short evening out for the in-person attendees we’ll take the opportunity of offering a bonus of a very rare showing of ‘ELM PARK ELM PARK’.
This is a 15 minute film tribute to our old ground, consisting almost entirely of never-been-seen-before footage of what it was like to be on the terraces and in the stands at Elm Park. It was created for National Sporting Heritage Day last year and thus far has only been seen by a very limited (because of Covid restrictions) audience on that day.
