At STAR we’re well aware of all the uncertainties surrounding the next football season – whenever that starts.
So we’ve decided to make one thing clear.
We are extending – free of charge – membership of STAR to all our 1700+ 2019-20 members for a further year, until 30 June 2021.
This is because we don’t yet know what benefits we will be able to offer in terms of away travel or face-to-face Fans Forums – and we may not know for months.
It’s also because we want to stay in touch with all our members, and build our community for when football fully returns.
And it’s a small gesture of goodwill.
Your 2019-20 membership card will remain valid until 30 June 2021 and you’ll need to keep it.
In order to take up this offer we do need you to actively contact us to say you wish to continue your STAR membership.
So you will need to copy, paste and send us the following message:
“I note that STAR is not charging a membership subscription for the year 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. I confirm that I wish to renew my membership of STAR as of 1 July 2020 for the next year until 30 June 2021.”
Then please add your name(s) and STAR membership number(s).

Or post it to: Membership Secretary, 5 Chapel Lane, Riseley, Reading RG7 1QU by 1 September 2020.
Please make sure all your friends who are STAR members are aware of this as not everyone picks up our messages. We will be writing to those who we do not have an email address for but please spread the word.
This offer is absolutely a one-off for these unprecedented times and we fully expect to go back to the £10 mark for adult membership in 2021-22. By the way, we have kept the membership at £10 (£5 concessions) for over 15 years now.
