Berks & Bucks FA in Partnership with Reading FC started Talking Tactics in October 2019. The idea of the programme is to end the stigma around Mental Health using the power of football. We use the Madejski Stadium on the 1st Friday of every month to come together have a cup of tea, watch the live game and from time to time have a guest speaker. Given the current events, we aren’t able to continue with our current format but more than ever Mental Wellbeing will be more vitally important so we’re moving this online.
Our guest speaker this week is ex-Reading FC player Scott Davies. Scott will talk about his time in the professional game and also how that career was cut short by a crippling gambling addiction.
