The STAR AGM was held at the SCL Stadium on Thursday 7th September.
We held our Annual General Meeting after the fans forum – thank you to everyone that attended. All motions were approved and the eight (five new) STAR Board members were endorsed by the meeting. https://star-reading.org/star-board-nominations-23-24

Re-elected – Steve Benton, Colin Bishop, Vicci Elliot
We also said a thank you and goodbye to our previous long serving chair Paula Martin and treasurer Roger Titford.
The Chair confirmed that the FCA had approved STAR’s application to adopt a new set of Model Rules, and that the Trust is now operating under these new rules.
The Treasurer advised Members that this would be the last fully audited accounts. Next year, an Independent Examiner will review the accounts.
It was proposed that Knight Goodhead are appointed to examine the Society’s accounts for the ending 30 June 2024 and this was agreed.
